I'm Two Years Old!!!!

It's my birthday! I'm Two Years Old!!! First things first...need to get a haircut to look good for my big party!

How do I look?

Here I am opening my first presents. Choo-choos and books - my favorites!

More cool stuff!

The next Yao Ming

My birthday dinner at my favorite restaurant - McDonalds!

Now its party time!

When do I get my presents?

First I had to blow out the candle on my cool Thomas cake.

Stop singing everybody! Don't you remember my party last year?!

I had my poker face on as Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to blow out the candle.

Allright! Presents time! Hmmm....this doesn't look like a toy.

Maybe this one will have something fun...

If I close my eyes and wish hard enough maybe these clothes will become toys...

Oh well....

Ok...now we're talking!

What...they want me to eat this?

No thanks, I'll pass.

Time to play with my new toys!

Playing with Maddie.

Look at my new car!

Maddie, I remember when I was your age...those were the good old days...

Chuc Mung Nam Moi!!!!

My first Tet party at Bac Chau and Duc's house.

I still insist on having Mommy hold me despite her burgeoning belly.

Everyone at the party said Daddy and I look like twins.

I got lots of li xi, but even better - I got to wear a Redskins helmet!!

Playing with Cousin Maddie at my second Tet party at Ong Ba's.

Here I am ladling some pho for everyone.

Mommy and Daddy had their last hurrah before my baby sister's arrival by getting some sun in the Bahamas.

I, on the other hand, had a blast playing in the snow!!!

November and December

Well, it's been a ridiculously long time since my last post. So much has happened! Biggest of all, we left New York and moved all the way to Maryland!!! I was born and raised in the Big Apple. See how I'm adjusting below:

Doing some fun activities while waiting to see Santa. I'm the size of an elf! Hahahaha.

Now I'm sending my letter to Santa in the North Pole.

For avid readers of my blog, you might find this expression familiar from my last visit with Santa.

After weeks of asking my parents to go pee pee, they finally got me my own potty! (Mommy didn't want to start my training until after we moved for fear that it would disrupt my training.) As you can see, I love being a big boy and sitting on the potty.

Beware: the next picture is graphic.

Success!!!!! After 5 days, I finally peed! We're waiting for a repeat performance.

Strolling in my backyard with my buddy, Scrabble.

I wasn't a big fan of playing in the snow.

I showed Grandpa Vu around our yard. I think he enjoyed my tour.

I'm delighted to find some of my toys in all of these moving boxes. Plus, my new room is much bigger.

I think the burbs are pretty great for a boy who likes to run around.

This is a blurry shot, but it shows my softer side (me kissing cousin Maddie at Thanksgiving).

Before we left New York, look who came all the way from Boston to visit me! My old nanny, Sarah!

Another must before leaving - a stylish haircut. I didn't cry this time!!!!
